Anthology Cover Reveal and Pub Date

The anthology is in progress! It’s getting real! I’m excited to share our cover art, done by the artist Sarah Becan. I’ve been a fan of Sarah’s work since I listened to her interview on the Eat Me in St. Louis podcast. Sarah’s aesthetic is perfect for the vibe I was going for in this anthology, and I appreciate how patient she’s been with me as I make my first foray into publishing.

The publication date is scheduled for Sunday, June 21st, 2026, which is the day of the summer solstice. I chose that date because, whether your calendar considers the solstice the midpoint of summer or the start of summer, it’s a seasonal phenomena that we all experience. Since we have contributors from around the world, I wanted to release this volume on a seasonal marker that’s universal. (Okay, for my Southern Hemisphere contributors it will be the winter solstice . . . but it’s a solstice all the same.)

Currently, Sangita Kalarickal is helping me with the final edit, and I’m researching how best to set things up in IngramSpark so I don’t have too many publication hiccups. Stay tuned for more details!
